What is the best way to reserve my room?
To reserve your room please use our secure online booking facility – your credit card details are required as guarantee for the reservation although no money will be debited until you check out of the hotel.
Is the room rate per person or per night?
The prices shown on the special offers page and on the online booking system are in Euro and indicate the price per room per night. They include everything i.e accommodation unit, buffet breakfast, service and tax.
Are children free?
Yes, Children up to the age of 4 are free if they sleep in their parent’s room. For older children and in order to ensure more comfort we suggest you reserve a triple room as it is more spacious. For babies a cot will be provided although a small daily supplement may apply.

Why do I have to include my credit card number?
- You will be required to supply a credit card number at the time of booking. Our hotel requires your credit card details to guarantee the reservation. Provided you cancel within the cancellation period required no money will be debited from your card until you check out of the Hotel Executive.

Is buffet breakfast included in the Room Rate?
Yes, a rich buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. You may help yourself to an array of breakfast items including cereals, fresh milk, eggs, ham, salamis, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, pastries and cakes, fresh bread, rolls, butter, marmalade, jams, fresh fruit juices, teas, coffees and cappuccino or caffè latte is served at your table upon requesting it from the waiter.

What is the cancellation deadline for my reservation?
Cancellation can be made up to 48 hours before arrival and no penalty will be applied. For all cancellations and no shows received after such time a 01 night late cancellation charge will be debited to your credit card.
Once I have made my reservation, how do I receive my confirmation?
The online booking system automatically sends you an email confirmation which you may print and bring with you as proof of the reservation. There is no need for us to reconfirm the reservation by email unless you have made any particular requests in the "comments box" when making your reservation.

What credit-cards are accepted by the booking system?
Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Diners plus the Italian Debit Card "CartaSi" and the UK equivalent Switch are also accepted.
My credit card number is correct, but the hotel is not accepting it. Why?
There are a few possibilities:
-Your card type is not accepted at the hotel Executive in Florence (see above list of accepted cards)
-The card expiration date precedes the reservation date.
-You have reached your credit limit.
-There is a computer error – apologies but please try again later!

Rooms Questions

Do all of your rooms contain a Private En-Suite Bathroom?
Yes, all guest rooms at the Hotel Executive contain a private bathroom with either bathtub or shower and sometimes both. The bathrooms in the Deluxe Rooms contain a marble finish. All bathrooms contain hairdryer and complimentary accessories including soft fluffy towels, shampoos, shower gels, shoeshine and soaps
What is the difference between Deluxe and Standard Rooms?
The Deluxe Rooms are in the newly renovated wing of the hotel and contain marble bathrooms, parquet flooring and have recently renovated to a high standard. The Standard rooms are just as spacious as the Deluxe Rooms and are still in very good condition.
How do I reserve the Suite del Granduca or Grand Duke’s Suite?
this room is very popular consequently we suggest you reserve it well in advance… we regret but if the suite is unavailable online then this means it is already booked for the Dates you have requested!

Are the guest rooms air conditioned and do you have central heating?
Yes, all of the rooms at the Hotel Executive Florence are fitted with air conditioning and central heating.
Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
Yes, we have quiet and romantic rooms and suites.
Do the normal hotel guest rooms have a terrace or courtyard?
No but the Suite room on 4th floor and Grand Duke’s Suite on first floor have their own balcony.

Do the rooms have a balcony?
We have 2 suites with balcony. None of the guest rooms contain a balcony.

Do you have non smoking rooms ?
Yes.
Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite TV)?
Yes. All our rooms are equipped with satellite television and telephone.

Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
Yes.

Directions Questions

What are the directions to the hotel?
The Hotel Executive is located in Downtown Firenze only 200 metres from the railway station therefore you can easily walk it in less than 10 minutes. Remember to take the right hand exit when you leave the station ((there should be 2 flights of steps) go down the steps and cross the pedestrian crossing. When you reach the other side of the road go left and follow the road round to the right, walk right up via della Scala and take the third left, go straight ahead and you should come out at via Curatone. NB if you prefere to take the bus then you can take Bus D from Santa Maria Railway Station again by exiting using the right hand exit. A taxi from the station should cost no more than 12 Euro but depends on the number of bags you have and traffic.
How do I get to Florence and the Hotel Executive from Pisa International Airport?
Pisa is where Ryanair and Easyjet flights arrive and is the main airport for Florence due to the surrounding flat terrain conversely, Florence is surrounded by hills and beautiful rolling Tuscan countryside consequently making it difficult to build a large airport. Pisa airport is well connected with Florence by both bus and rail links therefore you should have no problems reaching our hotel should you arrive at Pisa airport. To reach downtown Firenze We suggest you either take the Terravision shuttlebus or the train from Pisa Central Station straight to Florence Santa Maria Novella NB a train also leaves from directly inside the airport however, they are less frequent consequently we suggest you take the airport’s bus the short hop to Pisa Train Station where you will have a higher frequency of trains to Firenze Santa Maria Novella.
Journey time from Pisa to Florence?
Both train and coach take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
From Airport Florence Vespucci?
Florence Vespucci airport is only 5 km or 3 miles from the Hotel Executive and there is a regular bus service. A taxi will cost approximately 20 Euro but depends on traffic and how much baggage you have.
From Santa Maria Novella Train Station?
A taxi will cost approximately 12 Euro but again depends on traffic and how many bags you have (it costs approximately 1 Euro for every large bag you are carrying) Alternatively, you can take Bus D from the Station directly to the hotel.
Is there an Executive Hotel transfer service to/from Florence or Pisa airport?
Pick-up can be arranged on request. Costs vary depending on which airport you are arriving. Please see the optional extras on the online booking system.

Is your Hotel Open all year?
The Hotel Executive is open 24 / 7 i.e. all year round.
Can I specify where I would like my room located (preferred floor, etc)?
The Hotel Executive staff will certainly do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee guest room location because it is subject to availability.
Which languages are spoken at the reception?
Italian, English, German, Spanish and French
How many floors do you have and do you have an elevator?
We have 4 floors and 2 elevators.
What category or star rating is your hotel?
The Executive Hotel in Florence is an official four star i.e. a superior first class accommodation provider whose services include: hotel bar, conference center, breakfast room, 24 hour concierge / night porter service, colour satellite television and pay t.v., mini bar, telephone, wi-fi internet connection etc.
Does your hotel have Parking Facilities?
Yes we can offer valet parking in a nearby garage for a small daily supplement – please let use know if you intend to bring the car so that we may arrange parking beforehand.
Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
Each room has an internet e-mail point.

Are pets welcome?
No sorry for the comfort and hygiene purposes we do not permit pets of any description here at the Hotel Executive in Florence.

Is there a restaurant in the Property?
No but our Executive Hotel concierge will be only too happy to suggest some lovely Florentine Eateries and Hostelries in the surrounding area.
Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
