The Hotel Executive is in a prime location, just steps from the banks of the Arno River, in a quiet residential area of central Florence. Surrounded by elegant 19th-century buildings, it faces the wide street of Via Curtatone, which is also easily accessible by car, on the edge of the city centre’s Limited Traffic Zone.
Parking is allowed only for residents of the ZTL; in this regard, we collaborate with two garages that are available to our Guests by offering subsidized rates.
The street in front of our Hotel, Via Borgo Ognissanti, is one of the last natural commercial centers of the city, where you can still find several stores and ancient stores "botteghe" as well as some craft workshops that are increasingly rare and hard to find.
The Santa Maria Novella train station is only a five-minute walk away; all of the city's monuments, as well as the Fortezza da Basso exhibition and congress area and the Palazzo dei Congressi are easily reached with a short walk of about ten to fifteen minutes
Our Curtatone Street can be reached by car, without crossing the telematic barriers of the ZTL. There are two parking spaces available, located in front of the main entrance, for temporary parking with loading/unloading of luggage, and two contracted garages. The recommended exit from the A1 highway is Firenze Scandicci. Our coordinates are as follows :43.774373,11.242994. Indicate these coordinates on your GPS, the hotel will be on your right. If you want to avoid getting to the centre by car, you can use the large parking lot of Villa Costanza, located on the A1 next to the Firenze Scandicci exit, and get to us by Tramvia line T1 service. Recommended stop is Porta al Prato Leopolda. We are located 300 meters from the streetcar stop.
For those reaching Florence by train, we are located 250 meters from the Santa Maria Novella central station. If you do not have a lot of luggage and want to reach the hotel on foot, we recommend that you exit from the right side of the station, go down the flight of stairs, cross the pedestrian crossing at the tramway stop, and take Via degli Orti Oricellari heading south.
Cabs are always available outside the station. We can, of course, arrange a private transfer upon request.
